No name in golf cars has a longer, more illustrious history of technological prowess than Yamaha. Ever since Torakusu Yamaha built his first organ in 1887, the name has stood for innovation and ingenuity.

But what really gave the Yamaha name a boost of power was the creation of Yamaha Motors in 1955. And the subsequent birth of some of the world's most  celebrated motorcycles, watercraft, racing engines, scooters and recreational vehicles. All built following Yamaha's simple corporate mission: to enrich people's lives the world over through ingenuity and enthusiasm.

The Yamaha G-MAX ™ golf car is another thoroughbred in this award-winning lineage. It's built in our state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Newnan, GA, by employees who work in self-managed, empowered teams. That means each employee is accountable for ensuring a quality product. And what a quality product it is. The G-MAX is built according to standards so stringent, they far surpass those set by the golf car industry.  In fact, they surpass most of the standards accepted by the automobile industry.

OUR NEW FACTORY: THE FIRST AND MOST RIGOROUS TEST.

We've always been about building the best machines in the world - and we don't intend to stop. A testament to that fact comes in the summer of 2002 when we open our new golf car manufacturing facility in Newnan, GA. The 210,000 square-foot factory is a wonder of manufacturing science. It enables us to make the G-MAX 48V and G-MAX 4-Stroke, products that set the standard in golf car technology.
